Dolphin
Dolphins are marine mammals that are closely related to whales and porpoises. They are widely regarded as the most intelligent creatures on the planet next to humans with their extraordinary brain capacities. They are also very playful animals as it is an important facet of their culture. Dolphins play with seaweed and play-fight with other dolphins. River dolphins in particular are in danger of extinction due to habitat loss, hunting by humans, and naturally low numbers. Also, many river dolphins possess very poor eyesight — some are considered blind — which can lead to unfortunate encounters with humans or human-made objects.
