HA! We gotcha. April Fools. If you followed one of our various social network links, you must have been thinking, WTH? But if you stumbled upon this blog without our clever little links, I guess we’re the fools – haha. Anyhow, I wanted to take this cat-like, sly opportunity to re-introduce one of my favourite patterns. Earlier in February, I designed and painted a new piece in honor of one of the most revered species on this planet in it’s Chinese zodiac calendar year. Being that this past weekend was a complete washout, it didn’t stop me from being productive and looking ahead. Added to our patterns lineup was a familiar face – the face of Panthera Tigris in full line-art form! You know what that means right? New T-Shirts are on the way. Woo-hoo! I will be burning the screen sometime next week and hand-screening them onto a new batch of shirts shortly after. Look out for updates here and on our new twitter account. Now I’ve got to round up my models to make them look even better. Angela, Jimmy… do you hear me?
In other news, I got a lovely little shout from Invitation Buzz last week. Thanks guys! You absolutely rule. Check out their site for buzzworthy stationery.

As the temperatures clocked in at around 70 degrees, it signalled the return of outdoor market selling. Yay! Ecopatterns was back in full force in Union Square for the entire past weekend. Returning to the scene of where we made our public mark a year ago felt almost like the first day of school all over again. Yes, butterflies were there, but pretty soon the familiarity took over and we were back to business. We met some our long-time friends and collegues, and I think this is a great opportunity to introduce and share their works with our viewers. Definitely check out :
